Our Staff
Doctor
A 1969 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College and associated with Pond Point Animal Hospital since 1985. His special interests include dermatology, orthopedics and internal medicine. He has been a member of Rotary since 1974. Interests outside of veterinary medicine include gardening, traveling, biking and running (marathons).
Management
Nadine has been working here since the early 1980’s starting as part time receptionist and is now the hospital administrator. She has been married to her husband Walt since 1964. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Other family members include Diva, a lab, and a persian cat, Harley. Out side interests include gardening, traveling, reading and following the sporting events etc. of the grandchildren.
Technician
Joined the Pond Point Animal Hospital family in August 2005. Previously, she worked in Cromwell CT, at a 4 Doctor AAHA animal hospital which for 11 years she was the manager. She has an associate degree in animal science and earned her certification in the late 1980’s. In the early 1990’s she took a year leave of absence to go and work on Grand Cayman Island, where she had an opportunity to work with veterinarians from all over the United States. On her time off she enjoys, golf, scuba diving and tailgating at Giants games with her husband. Also, she enjoys designing websites and creating computer animation.
Lynne has been at Pond Point since 1988, starting as a kennel assistant and working her way up to being a technician. She shares her home with husband Marty, Lucas a pitbull mix, 5 cats and 2 Bearded Dragons. In her spare time she practices karate.
Reception
Diane came to Pond Point in March 2000, after 14 years as an office manager at Fairchild R.V. Center in Milford. Being involved with horses and their care for 35 years, a job at Pond Point would be a great opportunity to work with animals. She and her husband Rich have two daughters, 1 cat Sarah, and a horse Scout, who does not reside at home. Her spare time is spent riding, biking,reading and in the summer she really enjoys gardening and kayaking.
Pam Pesticci
Pam joined the reception staff in April 2001. Prior to working with us she was a bank manager, waitress and bartender. She resides in West Haven with Bill, her 3 children and several pets. When not working here she works as a waitress and as an assistant to an accountant. She also is known to do some pet sitting on the side. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading and playing with her dogs, especially her italian greyhounds.
Lois Dioro
Lois joined our staff in November 2006 after retiring from Verizon Communications. For most of her 26 year career at SNET and then Verizon she was Marketing and Advertising Manager for consumer products. She is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University and holds an MBA from the Unniversity of New Haven. Lois resides in West Haven -by-the-Sea with her feline kids Mizzen and Laurel Leigh.

Resident Cats
Rusty and his sister came to live here in May 2004 when they were 8 weeks old. Currently, Rusty assists the veterinary technicians in the hospital. Although Rusty usually stays away from the hubbub, he does like to flirt. He usually able to manage a nap or two despite his busy work schedule. On his free time he usually can be found birdwatching.
Tiger Lily
Tiger Lily also arrived with her brother in May 2004 at 8 weeks old. When she was old enough, she took up her duties as the front office supervisor where she keeps an eye on the receptionists and greets clients. Despite her rigourous schedule, she does manage to squeeze in an afternoon nap or two. Lily’s hobbies are birdwatching and purring.
